ST GEORGE AREA St George Area Rural Financial Counsellor - Derk Abberfield Derk Abberfield, a Rural Financial Counsellor for the St George district, grew up in a small town in NSW where his family owned a wheat and sheep property. His early memories of life on the land shaped his passion for agribusiness. He has lived in St George for the past 6 years and has extensive experience in the banking and agribusiness sectors. He is currently completing his Advanced Diploma in Rural Financial Counselling.
